* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Marilyn Vogel
Marilyn J. Vogel, 78, 1037 S. Wayne St., St. Marys, died at 11:25 a.m. Nov. 24, 2008, at the Golden Living Center-Valley, St. Marys.
She was born Sept. 2, 1930, in Mercer County, to Roland F. and Edna F. Roether Kruger. Her parents and stepmother, Mildred Kruger, are deceased. On Dec. 22, 1950, she married James O. Vogel, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, David (Deborah), Westwood, Mass., and Dan (Mary), Sudbury, Mass.; a daughter, Marsha (Ralph) Heckler, St. Marys; and seven grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Roland Kruger Jr.
She retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys, where she dealt with timecards, and also was a bookkeeper for Speckman Automotive and St. Marys Appliance Center. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys, and taught Sunday school. She also was a member of Rainbow Girls Advisory Board, Order of Eastern Star, Hawthorne Chapter, Amaranth St. Marys Court and Lima Shrine. She served as a band parent officer and den mother for Cub Scouts and was a Girl Scout leader.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Ed Bray officiating. Burial is at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to St. Paul's UCC Endowment Fund or the Diabetes Fund of Amaranth Court #50.
