* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Shawn Newland

Shawn E. Newland, 33, 525 S. Walnut St., Celina, died at 5:15 a.m. Nov. 24, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Death was due to natural causes.

He was born May 25, 1975, in Coldwater, to Dwain L. and Rose E. Lehman Newland, who survive in Celina. On Feb. 24, 1995, he married Angela M. Meyers, who also survives.

Other survivors are a son, Dekota L., Bryant, Ind.; a daughter, Dominique N., Bryant; two brothers, Dwain L. (Wava) and Anthony W., all of Celina; and two sisters, Lisa M. (Kelly) Slusher, Celina, and Kimberly D., Rockford.

There are no services or calling hours.
