* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Doris Bertsch
Doris A. Bertsch, 88, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of Sidney, died at 4:50 a.m. Nov. 21, 2008, at Woodlands Assisted Living Facility, Cape Coral.
She was born Dec. 29, 1919, in Maplewood, to David and Eliza Josephine Brock Richards. On June 6, 1936, she married P. Donald Bertsch, who died April 29, 1997.
Survivors are four children, Patty Ferree and Dwight (Connie), all of Sidney, John (Donna) Hohlmayer, North Fort Myers, Fla., and Sylvia Wolters, Coldwater; a brother, Claude Richards, Vandalia; a sister, Lela Pulfer, Sidney; and nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Kenneth, Dwight, Hugh and LaRue Richards; two sisters and their husbands, Louise and Russell Knief and Katherine and Charles McClain; and a granddaughter.
She was a former member of St. Jacob Lutheran Church, Anna.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cromes Funeral Home, Sidney, the Rev. Michael Althauser officiating. Burial is at Pearl Cemetery, Swanders.
Calling is at noon until time of services at the funeral home.
