CELINA - A 22-year-old man granted asylum in the United States in 2024 and accused of stealing around $90,000 from an elderly Celina woman this month appeared in Mercer County Common Pleas Court on theft and fraud charges.

Coldwater Black used a big third inning and then plated five in the top of the seventh to defeat New Bremen Gold 9-2 to win the MADS (Mercer, Auglaize, Darke, Shelby) Pony League tournament championship on Friday at Diamond 8 at Coldwater Memorial Park.

Celina High School graduate Jon Lutz will transfer to the University of Florida to continue his track and field career.
