Terry Reiff
Terry L. Reiff, age 77, of Delaware, Ohio, and formerly of Celina, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware. He was born on March 8, 1947, in Lima to the late Marshall and Margie (Romey) Reiff.
On July 20, 1976, Terry married the love of his life, Kathleen E. (Wheeler) Reiff, who survives in Delaware. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories.
Terry was a father to Melissa Gandy of Lima, Christopher (Mary) Reiff of Lima, Casey (Angela) Reiff of Delaware, and Megan (Michael) Carvill of Blacklick, Ohio. He was a grandfather to six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, with another great-grandchild on the way. He is also survived by his brother, Michael (Dorothy) Reiff of Springfield, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Judy Cheney.
A 1965 graduate of Elida High School, Terry went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He later built a successful career, dedicating over 25 years of service at St. Marys Trucking Company before retiring.
A lifelong member of Celina VFW Post #5713, Terry took great pride in his military service and camaraderie with fellow veterans. He found joy in life's simple pleasures-spending time outdoors, mowing his lawn, and, most of all, being with his family.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Steve Bratcher officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the service. Military honors will be rendered at the conclusion of the service by Celina American Legion Post #210 and Celina VFW Post #5713.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County, 218 South Main Street, Celina, Ohio 45822.
