* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ted Elsass
Ted J. Elsass, age 84, of Celina, Ohio, died March 25, 2018 at 2:20 pm at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.
He was born October 3, 1933 in Auglaize County, Ohio, to the late John and Carrie (Christler) Elsass. On January 3, 1981 he married Janelda "Jan" (Temple) Elsass, and she survives in Celina.
Other survivors include two sons, Larry (Teri) Elsass, East Liberty, Ohio, and Dale (Chris) Elsass, Jackson, MI; a brother, Richard Elsass, New Knoxville, Ohio; two sisters, Marjorie Daugherty, Michigan, and Sharon (Bill) Clark, Lima, Ohio; two brothers-in-law, Peter Kent (Jane) Temple, Celina, Ohio, and Gregg (Cynthia) Temple, Phoenix, Arizona; five sisters-in-law, Cheryl Davis, Celina, Ohio, Michele Temple, Queens, New York, Donna Elsass, Cridersville, Ohio, Betty Elsass, Baroda, Michigan, and Patty Temple, Celina, Ohio; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Also preceded in death by a son, Wayne Elsass; five brothers, Howard (Alice) Elsass, Warren Elsass, Gerald (JoAnn) Elsass, Donald Elsass, and Rev. Ned Elsass; three sisters, Bonnie (Lloyd) Hughes, Bernice (Orlo) Whetstone, and Shirley (Jim) Lageman; a sister-in-law, Mary Elsass; and two brothers-in-law, Bob Daugherty, and John Douglas Temple.
Ted was a 1951 graduate of Buckland High School and attended Capital University in Columbus. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber after 29 years of service.
He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, Celina, Sound Waves Barbershop Chorus, and Celina American Legion Post #210. Ted enjoyed gardening, reading, singing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
Visitation hours will be from 3:00 pm-7:00 pm, Wednesday, March 28, 2018 in the Cisco Funeral Home, Celina; where the Sound Waves Barbershop Chorus will perform a few songs in Ted's honor at 6:00 pm. To conclude the services, a prayer service will be held by the Celina American Legion and Celina VFW Members.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am, Thursday, March 29, 2018, at St. John Lutheran Church, Celina, with Rev. Jeff Gramza and Vicar Dan Gutman officiating; where visitation hours will be from 10:00 am-11:00 am prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina, Ohio, with military honors by Celina VFW Post #5713 and Celina American Legion Post #210.
