* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.

Phyllis Wynk

Phyllis Jean Wynk, age 92, of St. Sebastian, died Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Celina Manor.

She was born August 21, 1925, in St. Sebastian to the late George & Salome (Rose) Fleck. She married Elmer Wynk on May 29, 1948 and he died February 14, 2008.

She is survived by her children: Bill & Sharon Wynk of Coldwater, Diana & Ted Bertke of St. Sebastian, Dave & Lucy Wynk of Chickasaw and Sue & Rick Roeckner of Chickasaw; ten grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley (Elmer) Quinter of Wisconsin and sisters-in-law, Marjorie Fleck of St. Sebastian, Wilma Wynk of Coldwater and Rita Wynk of Carthagena.

She is preceded in death by a grandson Brad Roeckner; siblings, Earl Fleck, John & Lillian Fleck, Robert & Esther Fleck, Lester Fleck and Janice & Tom Rindler; and in-laws, Lorena & Ott Reichert, Lester & Wilma Wynk, Robert Wynk and Dorothy Wynk.

She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Sodality. Jean enjoyed crocheting, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family. She was the bookkeeper for EJ Wynk Construction.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at St. Sebastian Church. Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 PM Wednesday and 9 to 10 AM Thursday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
