Larry Braun
Larry B. Braun, age 79, of Celina, Ohio, died on Monday, January 1, 2018, at 1:00 am at Mercer Health Hospital, Coldwater, Ohio.
He was born September 11, 1938 in Celina to the late August and Frances (Leugers) Braun.
He is survived by a brother, Linus Braun, Celina; two sisters, Alfreida Ramga, Celina, and Dorothy (Lester) Hein, Coldwater; many nieces and nephews, and their children.
Also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ann (Robert) Hoenie, and Berniece (Merle) Green; and a brother-in-law, Herb Ramga.
Larry was a 1956 graduate of Celina Senior High School. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked at Celina Equity Exchange and retired from the Mercer County Highway Department after many years of service. Larry was also a very passionate farmer, a job that he performed until the very end. He was member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina.
Visitation hours will be from 3-7 pm, Thursday, January 4, 2018 in the Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, OH.
Mass of Christian burial and the celebration of his life will begin at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, January 5, 2018, in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, with Fr. Vincent Wirtner C.PP.S., officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 9:30 am-10:15 am at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina. Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina, with military honors by Celina VFW Post #5713 and American Legion Post #210.
