MARIA STEIN - The Marion Local Schools board of education unanimously ratified a two-year contract with the Marion Local Education Association on Monday night. The agreement comes after just two days of bargaining.
The contract, which runs from July 1 of this year through June 30, 2009, increases teacher salaries 2.75 percent during the 2007-2008 school year and 2.9 percent for 2008-2009. [More]
