Hannah Dershem peers into a glass case of mineral specimens at the Mercer County Library in Celina during a tour of the collection on Monday. Students of all ages from the Mercer County Head Start program were first treated to a hands-on lesson by retired geology professor Ken Strickland on various types of minerals included in the large collection donated to the library by Ron and Ruth Langsdon of St. Marys.
