* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Virginia Niekamp
Virginia Niekamp, 86, 11300 Circle Drive, St. Marys, died at 10:24 p.m. May 14, 2007, at Otterbein Retirement Community, St. Marys.
She was born April 29, 1921, in Detroit, Mich., to Ernest and Louise Eggert Strider. On April 26, 1941, she married Walter G. Niekamp, who died Jan. 6, 2006.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Deborah, Farmington Hills, Mich.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Daniel R.; and three sisters, Florence Grubb, Hazel Beverage and Ruth Cappell.
She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is 1 p.m. Friday at Woodmere Cemetery, Detroit.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, and 9-9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
