* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Dwight Strasburg
Dwight Gordon Strasburg, age 82 of St. Marys and formerly of Celina, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born on January 8, 1943 to the late Orville and Margaret (McQueen) Strasburg in Lima. On August 19, 1983, he married Connie Murphy who survives in St. Marys.
He is also survived by his loving children Jessica (Eric) Kramer of Celina, Staci Bond of Hebron, KY, stepsons Jeremy (Tami) Rable of St. Marys, Brad (Kim) Rable of Houston, TX, grandchildren Lydia Kramer, Nora Kramer both of Celina, Natalie Bond of Hebron, KY, Quincy Rable, Cora Rable, Reese Rable all of St. Marys, Elizabeth (D.C.) Arendas of Houston, TX and Lauryn Rable of Ft.Worth, TX, and great grandchildren Emersyn and Evelyn Arendas both of Houston, TX.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son-in-law Robert Bond and brother Ed Strasburg.
Dwight graduated from Celina High School with the class of 1961 and continued his education at a two-year technical school studying electronics. He proudly served his country in the United States Army before he was honorably discharged in 1966. Dwight dedicated 35 years to Goodyear in St. Marys, retiring in 2003.
In his younger years, he had a passion for riding his Harley and enjoyed hunting. He was a member of the American Legion Post #210, and also found joy playing golf, reading, and fishing. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandbabies.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Services are in the care of Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
