Betty Lou Moorman
Betty Lou Moorman, 78, died 7:56 p.m. at Divine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rockford, OH.
She was born February 11, 1947 in Piedmont, OH to Joseph A. and Myrtle J. (Duffy) Tipton.
Survivors include: daughter Rebeca (Mark) Hickman of St. Marys, OH; daughter Shelley (Marc) Kuhn of Celina, OH; grandchildren: Cody (Cheyenne) McKee, Matthew (Sabrina) Hickman, Mark Hickman, Jr., T.J. (Lindsey) Hickman; great-grandchildren: Layla, Axton, Corbin; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: parents Joseph and Myrtle Tipton; sister Daisy (Neil) Showalter; brother John (Blanche) Tipton; brother James Tipton; brother Donald Tipton; sister Geraldine (Sam) Sudbury; sister Virginia Pulley; sister Myrtle (Dean) Toole; brother Michael (Rita) Tipton; and sister Peggy Tipton.
She was a graduate of Madison Consolidated High School (Class of 1965).
A former resident of southeast Ohio, she worked at NCR in Cambridge and later worked in retail for K-Mart and Sears stores in that area. Her favorite pastimes included listening to live musical performances and visiting the Smoky Mountains.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 12, 2025 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys, OH.
Visitation one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
