* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Thomas Klosterman
Thomas A. "Tom" Klosterman, 65, of rural Wapakoneta, passed away peacefully at 8:42 a.m., Monday, December 30, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born June 28, 1959, in St. Marys, OH, he was the son of Wallace J. and Irene ( Muhlenkamp) Klosterman. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Montezuma, OH.
On October 17, 1980, he married the love of his life, Linda R. Sudman, who survives him. Together, they built a life centered on faith, family, and farming.
Surviving family members include his children: Dan (Beth) Klosterman, Stephanie (Nick) Schultz, Alicia (Houston) Wireman, all of Wapakoneta; his beloved grandchildren: Karslyn, Jocelyn, and Hank Klosterman; Karli, Bryce, and Haley Schultz; Wade and Kennedy Wireman; his siblings:   Tim (Karen) Klosterman; Cindy (Alan) Braun, of Montezuma, OH; Cathy (Randy) Winner, Willowdell, OH; Connie (Terry) Donovan, Celina, OH; and Terry (Cheryl) Klosterman, Montezuma, OH; his mother-in-law, Regina (the late Kenneth)) Sudman; brothers-in-law, Dennis Sudman, and Ned Sudman; numerous nieces & nephews.
Tom was a lifelong famer and 1977 graduate of Celina High School. A devoted member of St. John Catholic Church in Fryburg, OH, he lived his faith daily. He found joy traveling with Linda in their RV and had a passion for restoring John Deere tractors. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 6, 2024, at the St. John Catholic Church, Fryburg, officiated by Fr. Ethan Hoying. Burial is to follow in the St. John Cemetery, Fryburg.
Family and friends may call 2-7 p.m., Sunday, January 5, and 9-10 a.m., Monday, January 6, at the Eley Funeral Home and Crematory, State Route 501, Wapakoneta.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. John Catholic Church, the Wapakoneta E.M.S. & Fire Dept., or the ALS Foundation.
