Katherine Tesno
Katherine C. "Kat" Tesno, age 38 of Dayton passed away Thursday August 24, 2023.
She is survived by her parents, James and Susan Armour Tesno; her sister, Theresa Tesno and her dog, Rex.
Katherine was a 2003 graduate of Celina High School and graduated from Sinclair College. Katherine was the Operations Project Manager for Dermatologists of Central States. Katherine was integral to and coauthored a significant peer reviewed medical study published in the prestigeous medical journal JAMA.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 pm Monday, August 28 at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave., Dayton, OH; 4:00-8:00 pm Tuesday August 29 and 9:00 until 10:00 am Wednesday at the N.J. Hogenkamp Sons Funeral Home, 715 E. Main St., Coldwater, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, 10:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 6701 OH-219, Montezuma, OH. Burial to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
The family would welcome flowers or donations may be made to the Mariel Bloch Memorial Fund with Fidelity Charitable (Reference Account #1111065) to honor Mariel Bloch, Kat's niece, who also died of cancer at an early age. All funds are used to support childhood cancer research, which is currently vastly underfunded.
