* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

David Koch
David A. Koch, age 82 of Cridersville, passed at 9:21 a.m., Saturday, August 26, 2023 at his residence.     He was born July 19, 1941 in Mercer County, Ohio to the late John Morris and Lois Heffner Koch. On August 22, 1964, he married Gloria S. Agler, who survives in Cridersville.
Mr. Koch retired as a horse trainer and loved to train and race horses. He trained many horses, and two special harness horses were Francis Chip and Blue Creek Jasper. David graduated from Rockford High School and continued his education at Ohio State where he earned his bachelor's degree in animal science. After college he joined the U.S. Army Reserve from March 1964 to December 1969. He was a family man and loved to travel, go camping, fly fishing, learn about geology and hike in the Western United States and Canada.
His family also includes a son Keith Koch of Cridersville; Katherine (Robert, who passed in 2015) Sewell of Lima; 3 grandchildren - Sydney (Anthony King) Sewell; Shandon Sewell, C.J. Sewell; and a brother - Daniel (Bija) Koch of Portland, Oregon.
A gathering of family and friends will be 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Military rites will be observed by the V.F.W. Post 1275 of Lima.
