* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Genevieve Schmitz
Genevieve M. Schmitz, age 98, of St. Henry, died on Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Gardens at St. Henry.
She was born June 16, 1918 in Philothea, to the late Joseph & Mary (Kaup) Dues. On May 25, 1940 she married Gregor B. Schmitz and he died February 3, 2007.
She is survived by children, Elaine & Kenneth Reichert of St. Henry, Carol & Linus Hartings of Coldwater, Judy & James Albers of Wapakoneta, Nancy Kanney of Coldwater and Joyce & Dennis Borgert of Wapakoneta; a son-in-law Carl Baltes of St. Henry; 23 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; one great great grandson; siblings, Wilma Naber, Helen Homan, Maria Dues, Jeanette & Howard Osterholt, Marilyn & Willard Froelich and Mary Ann & Don Post; and in-laws Joan Dues, Barb Dues, Margaret Dues and Helen Schmitz.
She is preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Baltes; one great grandchild; siblings Lowell Dues, Gregor Dues, Wilfred Dues, Harold & Helen Dues, Joe & Colleen Dues and Stanley & Dorma Dues; and in-laws, Vernon Naber, Leroy Huelsman, Bill Billerman and Tom Homan.
She was a homemaker, a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, the Rosary Altar Sodality, past Regent of the Daughters of Isabella and a 1936 graduate of St. Henry High School.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 9, 2016 at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
Donations may be made to the Gardens at St. Henry Activity fund.
