* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Janet Ake
Janet E. Ake, 75, Saint Marys, Ohio, died August 28, 2016, at her residence.
She was born November 26, 1940, in Wapakoneta, Ohio, the daughter of Frederick and Helen (Raush) Bilger. She married Charles Baker and he preceded her in death. She married Donald Ake on May 30, 1986, and he survives at the residence.
She is survived by her son, Nick Baker of Akron; by her daughter, Janetta Summers of Massillon, Ohio; by two step-children: Jeff (Cathy) Ake of Bellbrook, Ohio; Shelley (Jim) Simons of Saint Marys. She is survived by a sister, Cathy (Lynn) Bowen of Saint Marys; a brother, Rick (Rita) Frey of Cincinnati. She is survived by 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by her first husband, Charles Baker; by two daughters: Teresa Baker and Babette Baumgarten.
Janet was a 1958 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. She attended clown college and was a professional clown, performing as "Jolly the Clown."
She was a fantastic seamstress and altered clothing. She was the owner of the House of Costumes in Saint Marys, and had also worked at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Fisher Cheese, Allied Tube, and JC Penney.
She was a sewing fanatic, enjoyed making crafts and fishing, studying genealogy and making woodworking projects. She was a member of the Auglaize County Historical Society.
Funeral rites will be held 3:30 P.M. Friday, September 2, 2016, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, the Reverend Keith Kivlin, officiant. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to the Cancer Association of Auglaize County.
