* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Edwin Poeppelman
Edwin A. Poeppelman age 86 of Osgood, Ohio passed away at 4:50 PM Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Otterbein of St. Marys.
He was born on January 26, 1930 in Osgood, Ohio to the late Frank & Anna (Winner) Poeppelman. He married Rosemary Dahlinghaus Kemper on June 3, 1970 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie. She survives in Yorkshire.
He is also survived by step-children: Mike Kemper, Osgood, Kenneth & Karen Kemper, Maria Stein, Patti & Tom Berger, Minster, 6 grandchildren; Kelli & Kevin Market, Scott Berger, Holli Berger, Joe Kemper, Jessica & Cole Thieman & Christopher Kemper, 4 great grandchildren; Korey Market, Baylee, Gabriella Kemper & Jaylynn Thieman, brother & sisters; Irene Prenger, Egypt, Theresa Will, New Bremen, Victor & Sylvia Poeppelman, Texas and Jean Ebert, Tennessee, in-laws; Victor Baumer, Minster and Ray Prenger, New Bremen.
He was preceded in death by brothers & sisters; Caroline & Alfred Cron, Amelia Poeppelman, Luenda Poeppelman, Alfrieda Puthoff, Mary Ann Baumer, infant Frank Poeppelman Jr. and Romilda Prenger, in-laws: Marc Prenger, Wilbert Will & Jim Ebert.
He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, the Men's Sodality of the Church, a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War and a member of the Osgood American Legion.
Edwin enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also liked to spend time fishing.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 2, 2016 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, Ohio with Rev. David Zink celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Martin Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
