* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Phyllis Lauth
Phyllis Lauth, age 72, of Mendon, passed away Monday evening, April 18, 2016 at her Daughter's residence in Angola, Indiana.
Born December 12, 1943 in Langley, KY, she was a daughter of the late Charles Edward "Ed" & Naomi (Osborne) Hicks. She married Everett Dewaine Lauth in May of 1984, and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2015.
Surviving are their Children: Cathy (Todd) Duff of Angola, IN, Karen Adams (fiancé Darrell Clark) and George (Candes) Fetters Sr., both of Celina, and Todd (Marla) Lauth of Sidney, Grandchildren: Kirk & Taylor Duff, Lauren Duff (fiancé Grant Andrews), Jimmy & Josh Adams, Kelsi (Devin) Diedrich, Alicen (Christopher) Williams, Josie (Warner) Evans, George Fetters Jr., Caleb (Logan) French, Coty French, and Leslie, Kira & Nick Lauth, and Great-Grandchildren: Blaze Adams and Mackinlee Williams. Also surviving are 5 Brothers & Sisters: Wanda Mahaffey of Arkansas, and Pauline Miller, Bonita (Eric) Welker, Eugene (Brenda) Hicks and June (Denny) Dorsten, all of Mendon, a Sister-in-law: Shirley Hicks of St. Marys, and a Brother-in-law: Nick Brodnicki of Pitsburg, OH.
Phyllis was preceded in death by a Son: Rodney Lauth, 5 Brothers & Sisters: Mary Agnes, Donnie, and Vernon Hicks, Dolores Derossett and Joy Brodnicki, and Brothers-in-law: Talbie Derossett, Wayne Miller and Eugene Lauth.
A 1961 graduate of Mendon-Union High School, Phyllis was a homemaker, and enjoyed gardening. She was a very loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt, who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 23 at Mendon United Methodist Church, with Pastor Randy Christian, officiating. Burial will follow at Mendon Cemetery.
Calling Hours are from 2-4 & 6-8:00 PM, Friday, April 22 at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Mendon, and an hour prior to Services on Saturday at the church.
Memorials may be directed to The Alzheimer's Association.
