* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Michael Peltier
Michael L. Peltier D.P.M., age 67, of N. County Rd. 25A, Sidney, passed away following a sudden cardiac event early Thursday morning, October 29, 2015, at Lima Memorial Health Hospital in Lima, Ohio.
He was born April 3, 1948, in Celina, Ohio, to the late Lester and Rogene (Kalkhoff) Peltier. On August 26, 1972, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, McCartyville, Michael married Marlene (Albers) Peltier who survives.
Also surviving are twin daughters, Katherine & Mitchell Treece of Findlay, Karen & Paul Schmerge of McCartyville, and a son, Jonathan & Kim (Bergman) Peltier of Minster; four grandchildren, Natalie and Colin Treece and twins, Katie and Luke Schmerge; one sister, Vicki & James Grilliot of Houston; a niece, Amanda & Jay McCollum of New Bremen, and mother-in-law, Dorothy Albers of McCartyville.
He was also preceded in death by one niece, Kelly Grilliot, and father-in-law, Julius Albers.
A 1966 graduate of Minster High School, Michael went on to obtain a B.A. degree at St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, IN. He then earned D.P.M. credentials at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, OH. Michael Peltier was a podiatric physician and surgeon in Sidney, Ohio for 41 years.
He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, the McCartyville Knights of Columbus, Sidney Moose, the National Street Rod Association, Ohio and American Podiatric Medical Associations, and several agricultural and Alpaca organizations. Michael had also been a past Anna School Board member having served eight years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Monday, November 2, 2015, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in McCartyville with Fr. John W. Tonkin presiding. The Rosary will be recited at 10:00 AM.
Friends may call Sunday 2:00 to 7:00 PM and Monday 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church gathering room.
Memorials may be made to Anna Education Foundation or the American Heart Association.
