The Mercer and Auglaize county sheriff's offices must hire more dispatchers to meet new state standards.
All 911 call centers including the sheriff's offices in Mercer and Auglaize counties have until Jan. 1, 2018, to comply with new state standards, which include having at least two dispatchers on duty at all times. [More]

St. Henry residents claim state, national championships
ST. HENRY - As a kid, Jerry Osterholt longed to play basketball.
When he reached seventh-grade he joined St. Henry's team and shot 3-for-3 his very first game. But his athletic career was short-lived.
ST. HENRY - Coach Brad Luthman and company had already made peace with the fact that St. Henry wouldn't be playing football in Week 11.
