Adeline Knapke
Adeline M. Knapke age 94 of Versailles, Ohio died at 7:30 PM on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Versailles Health Care.
She was born on January 18, 1921 in Maria Stein to the late August & Anna (Miller) Everman. She married Albert L. "Bert" Knapke on October 12, 1940 in Maria Stein, Ohio. He preceded her in death on October 1, 1980.
She is survived by children: Don & Cheryl Knapke, Virginia, Ruth & George Grisez, Versailles, John Knapke & friend Sally, Yorkshire, Nick & Teresa Knapke, Versailles, Jeanette & Bob Marshall, Versailles, Andy & Jan Knapke, Versailles, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, sisters Fritz Reichart, Coldwater & Wilma & Al Zumberger, Russia, in-laws Mary Everman, St. Henry, Urban & Mildred Knapke, Maria Stein, Lucille Kramer, Celina.
She was preceded in death by son Roland Knapke, daughter-in-law Barb Knapke, brothers & sisters, Art Everman, Armella Bruggeman, Richard Everman, Clarine Broerman & Cyril Everman.
She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles with Rev. James Simon celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Louis Cemetery, North Star, Ohio.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Russia from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 2 and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 3.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer through the American Cancer Society.
