* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ralph Nieberding
Ralph P. "Nibs" Nieberding, 82, Fort Recovery, died Feb. 26, 2015, at Celina Manor Nursing Home, Celina.
He was born Feb. 18, 1933, in Coldwater, to the late Leo and Helen (Brackman) Nieberding.
Surviving are a brother, Paul (Charlotte) Nieberding, Mesa, Ariz.; three sisters, Marianne Remaklus, Fort Recovery, Patricia Sommer, Fort Recovery, and Janet (Tom) Bennett, Nesbit, Miss.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Also deceased are a sister, Alma Kaup, and brothers-in-law, Joe Remaklus, Alvin Kaup and Hubert Sommer.
He was a 1951 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and was retired from Teledyne Forge, Portland, Ind. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post 345 and Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, both of Fort Recovery.
Through the years he enjoyed making photo albums of news articles from the former Fort Recovery Journal. He also enjoyed World War II history and after retirement he opened his shop every morning for friends to visit.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the American Legion.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. today and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
