Eva Burd
Eva L. Burd, 83, Celina, passed away peacefully at 7:05 a.m. Nov. 29, 2014, at her home.
She was born Feb. 11, 1931, in Celina, to Russell and Elsie Draper Schmidt. On June 6, 1948, she married William Burd, who died Jan 27, 2013.
Surviving are a son, Randy (Tina) Burd, Celina; three daughters, Laura (Steve) Billger, Celina, Linda Stott, Knoxville, Tenn., and Kathy (Nick) Perez, Celina; two brothers, Bill and Bob Schmidt, both of Van Wert; a sister, Joyce Gates, Celina; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are a sister, Bonnie Walls, and a son-in-law, George Stott.
She was a homemaker who offered her continuous love to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed going to garage sales, making crafts and listening to country music, especially Vince Gill.
Private family graveside services will be held at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina, the Rev. Dr. Jeff Gramza officiating. Her cremated remains will be buried along with her husband's.
No calling hours are scheduled.
Memorials may be given to Community Health Professionals.
