Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

WAPAKONETA - The Heritage Trails Park District levy on Tuesday failed by 169 votes.
The unofficial results show 3,231 residents voted in favor of the .6-mill, 7-year levy and 3,400 residents against it. The levy would have brought in $540,000 per year and cost a homeowner with a $100,000 property $21 annually. [More]

Paul's walk-off single provides only run of game

ST. HENRY - Jeff Paul had 27 runs batted in entering Tuesday's Midwest Athletic Conference game with New Bremen.
Number 28, however will likely be the most memorable for the St. Henry senior.
Paul's two-out single in the bottom of the seventh inning drove in Brian Kremer for the game-winning run as the Redskins beat the Cardinals 1-0 at the Wally Post Athletic Complex. [More]
