Connie Sawmiller
Connie Sue Sawmiller, 57, St. Marys, died at 3:30 a.m. May 5, 2014, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 8, 1957, in St. Marys, to Archie and Deloris (Cotterman) Sawmiller, who are deceased.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin Sawmiller and Randy Sawmiller, both of St. Marys; seven grandchildren, Austin Cornett, Janessa Sawmiller, Caleb Cornett, Courtney Cornett, Alisia Sawmiller, Kevin Sawmiller Jr. and Kara Sawmiller; three sisters, Nancy Thornsberry, St. Marys, Melissa (Jake) Shoffstall, St. Marys, and Annabelle March, Holland, Mich.; three brothers, Archie (Judy) Sawmiller Jr., Spencerville, Donald (Tracy) Sawmiller, St. Marys, and twin brother, Ron (Deb) Sawmiller, St. Marys.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Christina Lynn Sawmiller; a brother, Jack Sawmiller Sr., and life companion, Dennis Ellis
She was a homemaker and her favorite pastimes included playing card games, bingo and attending garage sales. She also collected angel figurines.
Funeral rites will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home West Chapel, St. Marys. Private burial will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
