* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

John Weng
John H. Weng III, 66, St. Marys, died at 4:10 a.m. Dec. 8, 2013, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born July 27, 1947, in Dayton, to John George Jr. and Mattie L. Bridges Weng. His mother survives in Celina. On Dec. 29, 1967, in Dayton, he married Judy J. Beck, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Shari (Arthur) Naugle, Ashtabula; a son, Chris (Sandy) Weng, St. Marys; and three grandchildren, Carrie (Marcus Neal) Lauth and Paul Lauth II, all of St. Marys, and Danielle Naugle, Celina.
Deceased are an infant son, John Russell Weng IV, and a brother, Ted Russell Weng.
He was a 1967 graduate of Wayne High School, Dayton, and was a veteran of the United States Army, who served as a sergeant in the Vietnam War. Specifically, he was in 3rd Platoon, C Company, 1st Battalion of the 22nd Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division. While serving his country, he was awarded the Combat Infantryman's Badge.
Fascinated with flight, his career encompassed more than 37 years as a senior captain in the Crown Equipment Corp. flight department. He held the record for the most hours logged by any pilot in a Rockwell Sabreliner.
He was a member of American Legion Post#1 in Paris, France, and the Patriot Guard Riders.
He greatly treasured the time spent with his children and grandchildren. His pastimes included auto and motorcycle racing. Participating in Patriot Guard missions to honor other veterans was truly an important part of his life.
Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home West Chapel, St. Marys, the Rev. Jack Burns officiating. Burial with full graveside military honors will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2–4 p.m. and 6–8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Members of the Ohio Patriot Guard will pay tribute during times of visitation and funeral services.
