* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Evelyn Burger
Evelyn R. Burger, 87, St. Marys, died at 8 a.m. Oct. 7, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 5, 1926, in Celina, to Harold and Margaret Lehman Bender. On Dec. 20, 1947, she married Leo "Jack" Burger in Celina, and he died Oct. 25, 1985.
Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl (Ric Findley) Shoffner, St. Marys, and Karen (Dan) Cable, St. Marys; a son, Michael Burger, St. Marys; a sister, Shirley (Mick) Edmiston, New Haven, Ind.; five grandchildren, Dawn Hammock, Kelly Pape, David Shoffner, Chad Bonifas and Keri Stammen; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Gene Shoffner, a brother, Robert Bender, and a nephew, Robert Bender Jr.
She attended Celina schools. She was a homemaker and had been employed at Mersman Corp. in Celina and St. Marys Cotton Mill and Vanderhorst Cannery Co., both in St. Marys. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in St. Marys. Her favorite pastimes included baking, playing cards with friends and following NASCAR racing.
Funeral rites are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home West Chapel, St. Marys, the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Private family burial will take place at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton.
Calling is one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
