* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Stanley Topp
Stanley Lafe Topp, 66, New Bremen, passed away at 8 p.m. Sept. 14, 2013, at the Dayton VA Medical Center, Hospice and Palliative Care Unit.
He was born Nov. 13, 1946, in New Bremen, to Lafe William and Marie Otte Topp, who preceded him in death. On April 18, 1970, he married Jane E. Muter, and she survives in New Bremen.
He is also survived by a son, Steven M. (Jennifer) Topp, St. Henry; two sisters, Lucille (Lowell) Francis, New Bremen, and Kathleen Topp, New Bremen; a granddaughter, Sydney N. Cluckey, Celina; and a grandson, Jordan M. Topp, St. Henry.
He was a 1964 graduate of New Bremen High School. He served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He retired from Mesco, New Bremen, after 30-plus years of service. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen. He also attended the Celina Nazarene Church.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Robert Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be given to Dayton VA Medical Center, Hospice and Palliative Care Unit; the St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen; and/or Grand Lake Hospice.
