* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Jeffrey Bitler
Jeffrey L. "Bit" Bitler, 59, Minster, died at 4:08 p.m. Sept. 14, 2013, at his home.
He was born Aug. 14, 1954, in St. Marys, to John and Lucille Bitler. He married Ruth Kramer Nov. 5, 1977, in Burkettsville, and she survives in Minster.
He is also survived by a son, Dan (Treva) Bitler, Bellbrook; a daughter, Nikki (T.C.) Wilges, Minster; grandchildren, Avery, Nolan and Lila; and brothers, John Bitler, Montpelier, James (the late Deborah) Bitler, Celina, and Tom Bitler, Calif.
He was an honorary member of the late Ted and Norma Purpus family. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Minster F.O.E. #1391, and a former golf committee member at Arrowhead Golf Club. He retired from Progress Tool in April.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:30 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Memorial donations may be given to the Auglaize County Cancer Association.
