* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

LeRoy Bergman
LeRoy F. Bergman, 89, Minster, died at 8 a.m. Sept. 4, 2013, at the Versailles Health Care Center, where he had been a patient for three weeks.
He was born April 11, 1924, in Minster, to John and Clara (Schulze) Bergman. On June 5, 1948, he married Rita Melcher, who survives.
Also surviving are a brother, Paul (Pat) Bergman, Fort Loramie; a sister, Ruth Roth, Celina; and in-laws, Norma Bergman, Fort Loramie, Helen Priske, Dayton, and Ruth Hinker, Minster.
He was preceded in death by siblings, Urban and Teck Bergman, Luella and George Sommer and Lester Bergman, a brother-in-law, Ralph Roth, and a sister-in-law, Margaret Anthony.
He was a member of St. Augustine Church, Minster; the New Bremen Rod & Gun Club; and the Newport Sportsman's Club. He was a Grand American Handicap National Champion in 1961. He retired from Minster Machine Company after 44 years and then worked at Precision Strip Inc. for 15 years. He also was a member of the 25 Year Club at Minster Machine.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine Church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding presiding. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-9:30 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
