Fox's Den Golf Course partner pulls request

CELINA - A request to have 89 acres of the 18-hole Fox's Den Golf Course rezoned so it could be sold as agricultural land to retire debt and pay taxes was withdrawn by one of the owners Tuesday night at the Celina Planning Commission meeting.

Celina's girls tennis team had its five-year unbeaten streak in Western Buckeye League end on Tuesday following a 5-0 loss to Wapakoneta at the Booster Club Tennis Complex in Celina.
Hole-in-ones in abundance at Elks
The Mercer County Elks has seen a number of hole-in-ones recently, with four aces being recorded in the last 13 days.
The streak started Aug. 22 when Dan Eifert used a 5-iron on the second hole. This past Sunday, Gary Lefeld aced the 16th hole using a 6-iron.
