Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

Division IV District Volleyball at Van Wert

VAN WERT - It's almost as inevitable as death and taxes that St. Henry and Marion Local are going to meet in tournament volleyball action.
In fact, the only times these two powers haven't had a postseason collision in the past 13 years was when St. Henry was bumped up to Division III in 2007 and 2008. Although Marion Local holds a 6-4 tournament advantage in the previous 10 matchups, the Flyers still trail St. Henry in state championships by a 7 to 3 margin. [More]

CELINA - The president of the board of directors of Sources Community Network Services, an anti-poverty organization serving Mercer, Auglaize and Van Wert counties, has resigned.
