* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Carol Schmiesing
Carol J. Grieshop Schmiesing, 63, Sidney, died of natural causes May 13, 2010, at her home.
She was born Sept. 20, 1946, in Egypt, to Fred and Catherine Bergman Grieshop. On May 3, 1969, she married Jan H. Schmiesing, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Dan (Patti) Schmiesing, Anna, and Tony (Jill) Schmiesing, Sidney; seven siblings, Rita Schoenlein, St. Rose, Mary Bruns, Maria Stein, Ed (Josie) Grieshop, Anna, Paul Grieshop, Troy, Bernadine Grieshop, Tipp City, Joan (Richard) Rodgers, Mason, Angie (William) Platfoot, Tipp City; a sister-in-law, Joyce (Tony) Armocida, Bellbrook; and two grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, John and Fred Grieshop; and two brothers in-law, Roman Schoenlein and Lawrence Bruns, and a sister-in-law, Barb Grieshop.
She attended St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, and was a member of St. Ann's Ladies Auxiliary. She had been a member of the former St. Patrick Church, where she served on the parish council. She graduated from Minster High School in 1964. She was a homemaker and farmer.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.
Memorials can be made to Wilson Hospice Care or the Ohio State University James Cancer Center.
