* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Donald Martin
Donald L. Martin, 64, 213 W. Caldwell St., Fort Recovery, died at 4:15 p.m. May 7, 2010, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
He was born Feb. 23, 1946, in Portland, Ind., to Ora and Edwina Bright Martin. On Jan. 21, 1970, he married Mary Joyce Ulmer, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Michael (Kim) Strohl, Fort Recovery; two daughters, Rhonda Theurer and Tracy Stahley, both of Portland, Ind.; two brothers, Michael (Susan) Martin and Richard (Irene) Martin, all of Portland, Ind.; and seven grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Frederick Martin.
He retired from Teledyne Portland Forge and was a graduate of the former Portland High School. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Recovery. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He also was a recipient of the Purple Heart after being wounded in war action in 1968. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and the Disabled American Veterans, both of Portland, Ind., and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, both of Fort Recovery.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery, the Rev. Charles Boomhower officiating. Burial with military honors being performed by the Fort Recovery American Legion is at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. today and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
