* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ella Mae Gaier
Ella Mae Gaier, 92, 6395 Barhorst Pleiman Road, Minster, died at 4:45 p.m. Feb. 5, 2010, at her residence.
She was born April 20, 1917, in St. Henry to Anthony and Regina Stammen Bernard. She was first married in 1940 to Sylvester Hoying, who died in 1959. In 1960, she married Henry Bruns, who died in 1961. On Feb. 14, 1962, she married Anthony Gaier, who died Aug. 5, 1993.
Surviving are a daughter, Virginia (Larry) Esser, Minster; two stepsons, Elton Gaier, Minster, and Myron (Diane) Gaier, Fort Loramie; five siblings, Florence Ferris, Columbus, Ann (Louie) Brunswick, Coldwater, Peg (Bill) Wolf, Fort Recovery, Joan (Greg) Hausfeld, St. Marys, and Jane (Walter) Uhlenhake, Dayton; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Deceased are five siblings and spouses, Urban (Katie) Bernard, Wilma Gels, Ruth Seitz, Elmer Bernard, and James Bernard.
She was a homemaker and member of St. Michael Church, Fort Loramie, CL of C, Fort Loramie, St. Anne Altar & Rosary Sodality and Apostleship of Prayer. She was a former member of Fort Loramie American Legion Auxiliary.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael Church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Lunch will be held at the American Legion immediately after the Mass.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
