Betty Hevlin
Betty L. Hevlin, 80, 450 N. Perry St., St. Marys, died at 7:13 a.m. Jan. 11, 2010, at the Golden Living Center, St. Marys.
She was born Sept. 3, 1929, in St. Marys, to Leonard and Mina Teeters Rain. She was raised by her maternal grandparents, the John Teeters family, and her aunt, Leola Teeters. On Dec. 16, 1950, she married Thomas Hevlin, who survives.
Other survivors are a daughter, Carol (Greg) Smith, Celina; two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Deceased is a son, Mark Hevlin.
She worked at the former Jaspersen Supply Co., St. Marys, and was a homemaker. She was a 1947 graduate of Memorial High School and a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Ed Bray officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the dialysis unit at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, or the church.
