Jordan Weigandt, a student at Serendipity Nursery School in New Bremen, stands on tiptoes to hang his laminated tag on a New Bremen Historic Association tree during the holiday open house on Sunday. The trees were all decorated in keeping with the theme "Lockkeeper's Christmas" as association members are working to raise matching money for construction of a lockkeeper's house along the west bank of the Miami and Erie Canal. The lockkeeper's house is scheduled to open this spring.
