Warren Wall Jr.
Warren Charles Wall Jr., 67, of Lima died May 12, 2009, at his home.
He was born July 22, 1941, in Roxana, Ill. to Loretta Mae Brown and Warren C. Wall Sr. On Oct. 24, 1987, he married Ruth Schwartz Maize, who survives.
Other survivors are six children, Wayne C. (Amy) Wall, Dawn M. Wall, and LaRinda L. Wall, all of Kingsland, Ga., Shannon K. Wall, Ridgeway, Va., Kathryn Reed, Tampa, Fla., and Ernie Reed of South Carolina; three stepchildren, Bill (Susie) Maize, Bluffton, Tonia (Jeff) Shroyer, Tipp City, and Brad (Rose) Hull, LaPorte, Ind; three brothers, Carl W. (Carol) Wall, Mt. Zion, Ill., Richard L. Wall Sr. and John T. (Dee) Wall Sr., both of Lima; a half sister, Patsy Hill, Livingston, Texas; a sister-in-law, Marge (Ken) Kitzmiller, Minster; two brothers-in-law, Gene (Dorothy) Schwartz, New Bremen and Fred (Deb) Schwartz, St. Henry; 12 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a half sister, Faye Wall.
He retired as a Maintenance Engineer from the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, St. Marys. He was a member of the Christian Family Fellowship Ministry, Tipp City, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge, Lima, the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and traveled extensively as a boilermaker throughout the United States.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, Lima, the Rev. Wayne Clapp officiating. Burial is at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Cridersville, where military graveside services will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1275.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. The Masons will have a memorial service at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
