Rebecca Waksman
Rebecca Jane Waksman, 46, 7400 state Route 703, Celina died May 10, 2009, at her residence. As of this writing, cause of death has not been determined.
She was born Oct. 11, 1962, in East St. Louis, Ill. to Lowell E. and Rebecca Johnsie Hedrick Cooper. Her mother survives in Statesville, N.C. On May 29, 1992, she married Daniel Waksman, who survives.
Other survivors are, a daughter, Kaitlyn Rebecca Waksman, Celina; and a sister, Debra Cooper, Phoenix, Az.
She cared for her daughter, who had autism, and was a member of Abilene Church of Christ, Statesville, N.C.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
