* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Anna Pottkotter
Anna J. Pottkotter, 92, 415 E. Vine St., Coldwater, died at 2:20 p.m. Nov. 9, 2008, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Feb. 22, 1916, in Sharpsburg, to John Edward and Mary Rose Guggenbiller Schmitz. On Sept. 14, 1940, she married J. Edwin Pottkotter, who died Jan. 17, 2001.
Surviving are three sons, Thomas (Pamela), Celina, and Kenneth and Terry, both of Coldwater; three daughters, Virginia (Ronald) Holstein, Fairfield, Connie (William) Brandon Jr., Houston, Texas, and Mary Jane (Gary) Wagner, Dayton; a brother, Bernard Schmitz, Coldwater; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three sisters, Florentine Gehle, Rose Verhoff and Pauline Kerner.
She was a cook for many local restaurants and retired from Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and its St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality, Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 2 p.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Ronald Wilker officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and 12:30-1:30 p.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
