* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Jeffery Dammeyer
Jeffery P. Dammeyer, 46, 10348 Tri-Township Road, St. Marys, died at 12:58 a.m. Sept. 10, 2008, at Joint Township Memorial Hospital. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born May 18, 1962, in St. Marys, to Kenneth and Ann Meyers Dammeyer. His father and stepmother, Renee Dammeyer, reside in Churubusco, Ind., and his mother survives in St. Marys. On Sept. 28, 1985, he married Sheila Schaaf, who survives at the residence.
Other survivors are a son, Jeremy (Christine), currently serving in the U.S. Army in Iraq; a daughter, Jamie Lee Sutter, St. Marys; a brother, Kenneth (Shirley), St. Marys; two sisters, Beth Slife, St. Marys, and Leisa (Kurt) Arnett, New Knoxville; a half-brother, Adam Dammeyer, Churubusco; a grandmother, Florence Meyers; a father-in-law, Joe Schaaf, St. Marys; and a grandson.
He was employed as a crane operator at Parker-Hannifin Corporation, St. Marys, and was a 1980 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Louis Schmitmeyer officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
