* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Richard Muhlenkamp
Richard John Muhlenkamp, 85, of Greenville, died at 2:20 p.m. April 25, 2008, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 6, 1922, in Cranberry, to Albert and Veronica Steinlage Muhlenkamp. His first wife of 52 years, Vera Gelhaos Muhlenkamp, died in September 1998. In January 2000, he married Alice White, who is deceased. On Oct. 29, 2005, he married his third wife, Margaret Hile Muhlenkamp, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, David (Amy), Troy, Michael (Becky), Greenville, and Chris (Rhonda), Kokomo, Ind.; two daughters, Paula (Nick) Cox, Ansonia, and Ann (Dave) Baker, Fort Wayne, Ind.; five stepsons, Jeff Hile, Valrico, Fla.; Doug White of Michigan, Gregory White of Pennsylvania, Joseph White of Florida, Mark (Pamela) White of New Jersey; three stepdaughters, Laura (Ron) Turner, Versailles, Kendra Breaden and Karla Karani, Greenville; a stepson-in-law, Ted Peters, Kokomo; three sisters, Pauline (Frank) Axe, St. Marys, Ruth (Herman) Kunk, Coldwater, and Joan (Jack) Carron, Kettering; 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, eight stepgrandchildren and a stepgreat-grandchild.
Deceased are a sister, Armella Waters; a stepson, Thomas White; a stepdaughter, Susan Hile Peters; and a daughter-in-law, Jane Sodders Muhlenkamp.
He was a managing partner of the New Weston Grain and Feed Company for 40 years and later was employed at the Ohio Farmers Association. He served on the Ansonia School Board and was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, Benevolent Order of Elks, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, all in Greenville, and was a member of the American Legion, North Star. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from September 1942 through March, 1946. He served on the USS LST 66 in the South Pacific which included campaigns in New Guinea, Lingayen Gulf and Borneo.
Funeral Mass is 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Marys Catholic Church, Greenville, the Rev. Glen Perin officiating. Burial is in the St. Marys Cemetery with military services conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Zechar-Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, with prayer services at 3:30 p.m. and a rosary service by the Knights of Columbus at 8 p.m.
Contributions can be made to the St. Marys Catholic School or the State of the Heart Hospice, both in Greenville.
