* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Bernadine Miller
Former North Star resident Bernadine A. Miller, 87, of Kettering, died at 3 a.m. March 22, 2008, at Sunrise Assisted Living Center, Oakwood.
She was born June 17, 1920, in North Star, to Albert and Agnes Barga Henry. On June 28, 1938, she married Linus W. Miller, who died in 2003.
Survivors are three sons, Paul, David, and Thomas (Cheryl), all of Dayton; two daughters, Bonnie, Kettering, and Mary (Joseph) Ellis, Dayton; two brothers, Lawrence (Gertrude) Henry, Centerville, and Roger (Alma) Henry, Bonita Springs, Fla.; three sisters, Opal Subler, Versailles, Magdaline Niekamp, North Star, and Ann Huber, Dayton; a sister-in-law, Henrietta Henry, St. Henry; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two daughters, Ellen and Joan; a brother, Basil; a sister and her husband, Mary and Andrew Bergman; and two brothers-in-law, Alfred Subler and Elvin Niekamp.
She was a former member of St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star, and a current member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Kettering.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star, the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is one hour prior to Mass on Tuesday at the church.
