Dianne Gaerke
Celina native and former Fort Recovery resident Dianne M. Gaerke, 61, of Troy, died Jan. 2, 2008, at her home. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born Nov. 5, 1946, in Celina, to Julius and Erma Harlett Sutter, who are deceased. Her former husband, Thomas Gaerke, survives in Union City.
Other survivors are two sons, Todd (Shelie), Rockford, and Troy (LeAnn), Plain City; two daughters, Tracy (Paul) Seeley, Alma, Mich., and Teri (Paul) Howe, Bellbrook; two brothers, John Sr. (Sharon) Sutter and Fred Sutter, all of Fort Recovery; two sisters, Dorothy (Bill) Lininger, St. Marys, and MaryAnn (Al) Saam, Cridersville; and nine grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, George Sutter.
She worked at Harborside Health Care, Troy, and previously worked 26 years at the former Huffy Bicycle Corp. plant in Celina. She was a 1964 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and a graduate of the Dayton College of Cosmetology.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
Contributions can be made to the Steven Braun Children's Education Fund.
