Richard Schwarck
Richard "Dick" Schwarck, 64, 14549 County Road 66A, St. Marys, died at 12:45 p.m. June 2, 2007, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Death was due to an extended illness.
He was born Nov. 14, 1942, in St. Marys, to Carl and Amanda Waltz Schwarck. His mother, now Amanda Borges, survives in St. Marys, and his father is deceased. On Oct. 28, 1966, he married Willine Thompson, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Rick (Barb) Swink, Zachery, La., and Wade (Vicki), New Carlisle; two daughters, Stacey (Barry) Erb, Wapakoneta, and Mandy, Gadsden, Ala.; two brothers, Harry (Jeannine), Celina, and Larry, New Knoxville; one sister, Connie (Chuck) Overley, St. Marys; and 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a stepfather, Joe Borges.
He retired after 38 years at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, St. Marys, and was a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church, St. Marys.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Harold Leiss officiating. Burial is at Resthaven Memory Gardens, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
