Project linked to West Bank walkway
By Timothy Cox
Celina City Council members will be asked at Monday's regular meeting to buy a 5-acre tract of land along Coldwater Creek that will satisfy the requirements of a state permit to build a lakefront walkway.
The purchase of 5.107-acre tract of land from Steve Klosterman has already been debated by council members but could spur further discussion at Monday's meeting. The deal has been in the works for months but was held up as final details of the walkway and related financing were worked out. [More]

Plans for the first phase of the proposed West Bank Rotary Walkway lacks what the concrete structure will eventually need to survive - a breakwater structure to limit damage from waves and shifting ice.
