ROCKFORD - An extended break didn't seem to slow Parkway down.
Over a week after their season opener, the Panthers kept their undefeated season intact with a 42-33 win over St. Marys in a MAC vs. WBL matchup on Tuesday at Panther Gymnasium.

ROCKFORD - Councilors on Tuesday approved legislation supporting a county effort to apply for a grant that would ultimately be used to tear down an abandoned structure outside of Rockford.
MINSTER - Councilors learned Tuesday night that final plans are being made for the expanded Minster Winter Festival on Dec. 12.
"There will be several food truck vendors, Santa and an ice-skating rink for the event," said village administrator Don Harrod.
CELINA - A 56-year-old Coldwater man was sentenced to four years in prison last week in Mercer County Common Pleas Court on several felony drug possession charges.
FORT RECOVERY - Fort Recovery councilors on Monday accepted their third annexation this year, this time approving the annexation of almost 16 acres of land into the village.
