Mary Gilbert
Mary E. Gilbert, age 73, of Celina, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
She was born October 16, 1951, in Van Wert, to the late Lester & Luella (Blatteau) Ebright. Mary's step-mother, Ilo Ritchie Ebright, also preceded her in death.
Mary and Edward Gilbert were married on March 16, 1968. Ed survives, along with their children: Ed (Sara) Gilbert and Mary Ann Fleck of Celina, 4 grandchildren: Chase (Kanisha) Fleck, Lauren Fleck, Dylan (Makenzie) Gilbert, and Haylee Gilbert, 2 great-grandchildren: Annie Rose and Waylon Edward Fleck, and many nieces & nephews.
Mary's surviving brothers & sisters are: Bob (Joyce) Ebright, Bill (Chris) Ebright, Bud Ebright, Jim Ebright, Nancy Behm, Leslie (David) Gullett, and Toni Crumley, a step-brother: Steve Ritchie, and sister-in-law: Pam Ritchie.
Ed's surviving brothers & sisters are: Rita Hagaman, Anita Gilbert (Mike Donthnier), Brenda (Dave) Gingerich, and Roger Gilbert, and a sister-in-law, Sharon Gilbert.
Deceased family members are: a great grandson, Allen Ray Fleck, and Betty Dennis, Linda (Paul) Browder, Ed Behm, Gene (Vivian) Gilbert, June (Bill) Keck, Nancy (Tom) Temple, Jim Gilbert, Peggy Gilbert, Billy Gilbert, and Karl Hagaman Sr.
A graduate of Celina High School, Mary retired from Setex in St. Marys, after many years of service. Mary enjoyed going to Casinos, playing BINGO, and reading, but most especially her family and grandkids.
Calling Hours will be held at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, on Friday, August 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00, with Ronnie Hagaman officiating.
Burial will take place at Mercer Memory Gardens.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
